AVOCADO AND COCOA SMOOTHIE BOWL

Because I like eating healthy, I love to begin my day with a good serving of fruit in the morning. This smoothie bowl of avocado, banana, and cocoa powder is a great way to get the energy I need and has become my new favorite. It’s totally healthy too because even the cocoa is “eco”. It keeps me energized throughout the day and I’m not even hungry when it’s time for lunch. And if combined with a nice cup of coffee, it’s a perfect breakfast. 

I will also frequently sprinkle things on top, depending on my mood and whatever I have left in my fridge. The one I photographed today has banana slices on top and pumpkin seeds, but you can add whatever you may feel like having: oat flakes, chia seeds, goji berries… There are endless possibilities!

It’s also incredibly easy to prepare: simply put all the ingredients in a blender and blend until you obtain your preferred texture!

 

INGREDIENTS for one nice smoothie bowl

Half of an avocado

Half of a banana

75 ml (½ cup) plant-based milk of your preference (hazelnut, oat, walnut…)

3 tsp. eco cocoa powder

 

Toppings

A bunch of pumpkin seeds

A few banana slices

Other options: chia seeds, oat flakes, nuts, or goji berries

 

METHOD

In a blender add the avocado, banana, cocoa powder, and plant-based milk. Mix well until smooth. You can choose a frozen banana for an extra smooth texture. Serve in a bowl and add the toppings I mentioned above or the ones of your preference. 

Have this smoothie bowl for breakfast (or as a snack!) with a nice cup of coffee or a hot tea and… have a nice day!
