Here’s one of my favorite dinners lately: Tomato salad with garlic sprouts dressing. I love tomatoes, so I always have some around in the kitchen. They are frequently the perfect ingredient I need to prepare a quick dinner when I don’t know what to make. There’s nothing more delicious that some tomato slices sprinkled with extra virgin olive oil.
On this occasion I happened to have some tender garlic sprouts left. With this and the rest of ingredients bought at the market, I prepared this quick and tasty salad.
The ingredients you’ll need:
2 big tomatoes
4 tender garlic sprouts
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt
Fresh basil
Method
Start by cutting the garlic sprouts into thin slices and sauté them with a bit of oil over medium heat.
Now, cut the tomatoes into slices and place on a big dish. Add the garlic sprouts on top and some basil leaves.
